The Indianwood Homeowners Association is a diverse association of neighbors that blend together to form a community to be proud of. We strive to be a transparent and inclusive association, encouraging all ideas, opinions, and proposal with an open mind and a spirit of respect.
The IHOA exists to benefit the residents of the Indianwood Golf and Country Club.
We do not manage this Legacy-owned Park, but we do advocate for our residents' quality of life when we are allowed to do so by law; in this we are governed by Florida Statute 723.
We also seek to provide a variety of activities for the enrichment and entertainment of the Park residents, including monthly Karaoke evenings, weekly Bingo sessions, the semi-annual Programs honoring our Veterans on Memorial Day and Veterans Day, and more!
For a full listing, please consult the monthly Arrow newsletter (downloadable as a .pdf), the bulletin boards in the Rec Center, and our posts on NextDoor.
The IHOA Board of Directors believes that a professional and collegial working relationship between the IHOA and the Park owner is the most beneficial to the residents. While we do not hesitate to oppose the park owner for violations of the law, those incidents should occur only as needed for specific issues, and they are always approached as professionally as possible.
In order to be an effective advocate for our residents' quality of life, a representative of the Board of Directors meets weekly with the Park manager.
We also work closely with the Park manager to coordinate entertainment and other activities for the residents.
